According to HCYU Secretary Nguyen Minh Triet, over the past 22 years, the Golden Globe Awards have become a source of pride and inspiration, nurturing the creative aspirations of young Vietnamese intellectuals.
This year, the organisers received 83 eligible nominations, from which the ten most outstanding were selected for the awards.
The winners are working in five key national science and technology fields: information technology, digital transformation, and automation; medical and pharmaceutical technology; biotechnology; environmental technology; and new materials technology.
Speaking at the ceremony, Do Van Chien, President of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front, affirmed that this year’s award laureates are contributing to solving major challenges faced not only by Viet Nam but also by humanity as a whole.
Emphasising the Party and state’s consistent policy of valuing talent, Chien called on relevant agencies to refine mechanisms and special policies for selecting, training, and supporting young talents in science and technology.
He highlighted the need to establish flexible financial mechanisms and introduce preferential policies on taxation, land, credit, and access to innovation funds for young research groups and technology start-ups.
