The match is considered crucial for head coach Kim Sang-sik and his squad, who need a positive result to gain an early advantage in the race for a quarter-final place.

Football fans can watch the Viet Nam–Jordan clash live on TV360, the entertainment platform of Viettel Telecom. The AFC U23 Asian Cup 2026 is the first major tournament to be broadcast on TV360 since the platform announced that it had secured broadcasting rights for AFC competitions for the 2026–2029 period.

To share the passion for the national team, TV360 will also host nearly 100 nationwide public viewing events for the Viet Nam–Jordan match, helping to boost the festive football atmosphere and bring fans together across the country.

Ahead of kick-off, TV360 will enhance the viewing experience with a pre-match discussion programme, to be aired at 5:45pm on January 6 on channel TV360+9.

The show will feature seasoned pundits including commentator Quang Tung and coach Pham Minh Duc, who will offer tactical analysis and expert insight to provide audiences with an in-depth preview of this pivotal fixture for Viet Nam's U23.

In addition, TV360 will introduce a special commentary channel titled “Hoa Nhip Viet Nam” (In Tune with Viet Nam), to be led by well-known commentators Ta Bien Cuong and Tuyen Van Hoa.

Rather than focusing heavily on technical analysis, the programme will blend humour, real-life stories and light-hearted observations, creating a friendly, conversational feel – like watching football with friends.
