Vice President presents pre-Tet gifts to policy beneficiaries in Lang Son

Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan visited and presented gifts to policy beneficiaries, poor households, children living in difficult circumstances in Thanh Long and Thuy Hung communes, and border officers and soldiers of Na Hinh border post in Van Lang district on December 29 on the occasion of the upcoming lunar New Year (Tet) festival.

Accordingly, the Vice President delivered gifts to 100 poor people and 200 disadvantaged children in the two communes.

On behalf of the leaders of the Party and State, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan called on local people to promote solidarity and join hands with the provincial authorities and the functional forces, to protect the locality’s borderline.

She also took the occasion to wish them a new year full of happiness, prosperity and blessings.

While meeting with officers and soldiers at the Na Hinh border post, the State official highly appreciated the force’s efforts and achievements, in safeguarding border areas and developing a close bond with local people and the functional forces of neighbouring countries.

In the afternoon of the same day, she joined hundreds of outstanding workers in a Tet gathering, during which she handed over 500 million VND, to fund the construction of 10 social houses in the province.

At the event, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour delivered 200 Tet gifts to trade union members and workers living in difficulties.
