[Video] Tax sector launches “Cleaning tax codes – Removing business bottlenecks” campaign

The Tax Department has launched a nationwide campaign entitled “Cleaning Tax Codes – Removing Business Bottlenecks” aimed at handling backlogged cases, reducing the number of “missing” businesses, shortening dissolution procedures and improving tax administration efficiency in the context of digital transformation.

One notable feature of the campaign is the adoption of a dossier classification system combined with risk-tier segmentation. Under this approach, cases requiring support will be separated from those showing high-risk signs in order to ensure appropriate handling measures.

In 2026, the tax sector aims to update information for at least 80% of taxpayers subject to review; completely resolve at least 35% of eligible backlogged cases; and reduce by at least 20% the number of newly arising businesses no longer operating at their registered addresses.
