The event features a series of innovative STEM, robotics and AI experiential activities, expected to serve as a powerful launchpad for scientific curiosity among the younger generation.
According to Nguyen Van Khoi, Vice Chairman of the Can Tho City People’s Committee, Viet Nam Space Week 2026 is not only a platform for scientific and technological exchange, but also a forum designed to inspire a spirit of exploration, creativity and the quest for knowledge.
Through various activities and modern technology experiences, the programme will provide students with opportunities to gain direct exposure to advanced scientific knowledge, engage with former astronauts and international experts, and have hands-on experience with STEM models, robotics, drones, AI, VR/AR and modern educational technologies.
The event is expected to kindle a passion for science, a spirit of innovation and creativity, and aspirations for advancement among Viet Nam’s younger generation.
Through stories of space exploration, of humanity’s determination to push beyond limits, and of the drive to achieve what once seemed impossible, students will grow in confidence to dream boldly, think creatively, innovate and pursue careers in science and technology.
At a time when knowledge, technology and innovation are driving fierce global competition, Can Tho City remains committed to working alongside educational institutions, businesses, scientists and international organisations to build a modern, open and sustainable environment for learning, research and innovation.
