Accordingly, the three carriers will operate nearly 500 flights a day, up nearly 30% as usual.
The busiest domestic routes are those connecting popular tourist destinations, such as Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City with Da Nang, Con Dao, Hue, Quy Nhon, Nha Trang, Da Lat, and Phu Quoc.
Meanwhile, the busiest international flights are those linking Vietnam with Japan, the Republic of Korea and Thailand.
As the travel demand increases significantly in summer, Vietnam Airlines Group suggests passengers book tickets in advance, to have a wider selection of flights, as well as increase the possibility of buying tickets at favourable prices.
Passengers are also advised to arrive at the airport two hours before their scheduled departure time for domestic flights, and three hours for international flights.
