Accordingly, men will retire at 60 years and six months, and women at 55 years and eight months from next year, up three months and four months from the retirement ages in 2021, respectively.

Labourers can retire up to five-10 years earlier than the said-above ages based on certain conditions like working in a dangerous environment or extremely disadvantaged areas.

The retirement age will be further adjusted until it reaches 62 for men and 60 for women in 2028.

Among the new policies to be effective from January next year is Decree No. 95/2021/ND-CP that amends Decree No. 83/2014/ND-CP on petroleum trading, stipulating that petrol prices will be reviewed every 10 days, as compared with 15 days previously.
