The programme themed “Islands and Seas in the people’s hearts” includes various activities, including the re-enactment of the Feast and Commemoration Festival for Hoang Sa (Paracel) Soldiers, performances of 'Bai Choi' singing (a popular folklore style of singing in the central and south central regions of Vietnam) recognised by the UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage, the display and introduction of Quang Ngai Province’s cultural identity and tourism, the showcase of images on Hoang Sa soldiers, and the experience of traditional cuisine of Ly Son Island and Quang Ngai Province.

On weekends, there will be folk singing and dancing programmes for the ethnic minority people.

In October, the Khmer community will celebrate their Sen Dolta Festival at the Khmer Pagoda and the Kathina ceremony.

Daily activities led by local artisans will also take place, featuring cultural exchanges, traditional games, culinary experiences from different ethnic groups, and craft workshops.

The traditional cultural experience programme is designed around the cultural spaces of the ethnic communities in the village. Visitors can relax and participate in various indoor and outdoor games.

Indoor spaces will offer services catering to visitor interests, including painting pottery and sand painting, making bamboo dragonflies, wooden paintings, fish crafts, and trying on traditional costumes.

Furthermore, daily and weekend activities will be available from 16 ethnic communities, including experiential tourism programmes, cake-making demonstrations for visitors, traditional games, and blessing ceremonies at spiritual spaces like the Khmer Pagoda and Cham Towers.
