The event was attended by 300 delegates, including officials and Party members from the Embassy of Viet Nam in Laos, Vietnamese representative offices in Laos, the leadership and officials and Party members of Star Telecom Company, representatives of the leadership of the General Association of Vietnamese People in Laos, the Vietnamese Association in Vientiane, and the Vietnamese Business Association in Laos, along with a large number of overseas Vietnamese, businesspeople, teachers, and Vietnamese students living, studying, and working in Laos.
Listening attentively to the proceedings of the opening session, delegates who are officials, Party members, and members of the Vietnamese community in Laos expressed their excitement and pride in the image of a renewed and dynamic Viet Nam, as well as in the major, comprehensive achievements the country has attained during the past term. They also voiced their expectations for breakthrough decisions from the 14th National Party Congress that will lead the country into a new era — the era of the nation’s strong advancement.
Filled with excitement and pride in the glorious historical traditions of the Communist Party of Viet Nam, together with the great and comprehensive achievements gained by the country and its people over more than 80 years under the Party’s leadership, all officials and Party members of the Party organisation in Laos and the Vietnamese community in Laos extended their respectful best wishes for the great success of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Viet Nam. They expressed their hope that the Congress will continue to steer the country and the Vietnamese people into a new era, for peace, independence, democracy, prosperity, civilisation, and happiness, and for steady progress towards socialism.
At the conclusion of the live broadcast of the opening ceremony of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Viet Nam, delegates expressed their joy and confidence. The event provided renewed motivation for officials, Party members, and the Vietnamese community in Laos to continue working together in unity with people across the country to build a strong and prosperous Viet Nam, making practical contributions to the cause of building and defending the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.
