The calendar, comprising 365 sheets, is designed as a travel manual providing basic information about typical tourist attractions in 28 coastal provinces and cities across Vietnam so that viewers can explore the country’s seas and islands day by day.

The theme colour of the calendar is blue, symbolising the colour of the sea, peace, youth and hope.

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Minh Tuan, Director - Editor-in-Chief of the Su That (Truth) National Political Publishing House expressed his hope that the calendar will provide viewers with useful and valuable information about the country's seas and islands while increasing the younger generation’s understanding and appreciation for the motherland.

For his part, Director General of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism Nguyen Trung Khanh hailed that the calendar not only captures the beauty of Vietnam's sea and islands but also provided general information about the land, people and culture of Vietnamese coastal localities.

He expressed his belief that the calendar will encourage viewers to visit Vietnam’s seas and islands, thus contributing to boosting Vietnam's tourism recovery.

On this occasion, the Su That (Truth) National Political Publishing House presented 1,500 copies of the calendar to the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee.

The copies will be gifted to delegates of the 12th National Youth Congress, which is set to take place in Hanoi in December this year.
