According to Fortune, the list of the Most Powerful Women Asia 2024 honours women reshaping the concept of leadership by transforming their companies, advancing industries, driving growth, fostering technological innovation, and inspiring the next generation of leaders. This is the first year Fortune has published the list of MPW Asia, reflecting the region's increasingly influential economy on the global stage.
The list is based on five criteria: business scale and growth, strategic vision, innovation and breakthrough achievements, impact on business and the economy, and social reputation and influence.
This year’s MPW Asia featured 100 businesswomen from 11 countries and territories, including China, India, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam and Australia.
