Work starts on sea dyke-cum-road on Ly Son island

Nhan Dan -  The Military Command of Quang Ngai province began construction on the second phase of a section of a sea dyke-cum-road along Ly Son island, in Ly Son island district, Quang Ngai central province on June 10.

The section has a total length of 2 kilometres running from Ly Son Fishing Port to Con Hamlet in An Vinh commune.

The project has a total budget of VND210 billion (US$10.08 million) and is scheduled for completion in 2015.

On the occasion, the Military Command of Quang Ngai province also inaugurated a 5 km sea dyke-cum-road section along the island which had a total cost of VND150 billion (US$7.2 million).
