This act also aligns with the national emulation campaign to eliminate makeshift and dilapidated houses across the country in 2025, launched by the prime minister. Kim Oanh Group has upheld the tradition of solidarity, mutual support, and community responsibility, making significant practical contributions to ensuring the city’s social welfare.
Mr Nguyen Thanh Binh shared that eliminating makeshift and dilapidated houses is a key task directed and vigorously pursued by the City Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, aiming to care for the people's livelihoods and promote sustainable poverty reduction.
According to Mr Binh, in line with nationwide efforts, Hue City has recently focused on reviewing and closely monitoring the situation of poor households, near-poor households, and disadvantaged households to provide timely support, especially regarding housing. The city has also mobilised multiple resources to eliminate makeshift and dilapidated houses for policy beneficiary families, poor households, and near-poor households in the spirit of “Joining hands for the poor — leaving no one behind.”
