The 2026 Vietnamese Tet Space is organised by the Ha Noi People’s Committee, with the Department of Industry and Trade serving as the lead agency in coordination with relevant departments, sectors, and units.
Taking place on the occasion of the 2026 Lunar New Year, the event represents a harmonious blend of traditional Tet features and contemporary elements, creating a vibrant, communal, and far-reaching cultural space.
The programme not only meets public demand for festive entertainment and shopping during the Lunar New Year but also contributes to boosting goods consumption as well as promoting the image of localities and the people, cultural identity, and tourism potential of the capital city and regions across the country.
The event space is meticulously designed and decorated to vividly recreate the traditional Tet atmosphere of Ha Noi and various regions, combining elements of commerce, culture, experience, and tourism. The programme is organised on a large scale, comprising key areas such as exhibition and introduction spaces for representative commercial products; areas promoting OCOP products; spaces showcasing handicrafts and traditional craft village products; and decorative installations and photo booths serving the sightseeing and photography needs of residents and visitors.
In addition to exhibition and shopping activities, throughout the eight-day programme there will be numerous cultural events and traditional Tet experiences, helping to rekindle the atmosphere of the traditional Lunar New Year and particularly appealing to families and young people.
The programme features the participation of more than 60 enterprises, cooperatives, and production establishments from many provinces and cities, including Hung Yen, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh, Ninh Binh, Ha Noi, Thanh Hoa, Lao Cai, Son La, Nghe An, Quang Nam, and Khanh Hoa, featuring a wide range of regional specialty products.
The 2026 Vietnamese Tet Space introduces a wide range of OCOP products rated from three to five stars, along with products of clear origin and assured quality such as fresh milk and yoghurt from Ba Vi, honey, confectionery, Ba Lang fish sauce, beverages, glass noodles, and wood ear mushrooms, as well as consumer goods, textiles, fashion items, footwear, and handbags. Notably, the programme will also feature technology products, smart devices, digital solutions, and modern AI-enabled hardware, with a focus on hands-on experience and practical application.
According to the organising committee, the 2026 Vietnamese Tet Space is not only a destination for shopping and celebrating the Lunar New Year for residents and visitors, but also an opportunity to strongly promote domestically produced goods, contributing to stimulating domestic consumption and stabilising the market at year’s end.
By placing products at the centre of the programme, the event creates favourable conditions for enterprises, cooperatives, and production facilities to directly connect with consumers, distribution partners, and investors, thereby expanding markets, enhancing product value, and building sustainable brands.
