The programme was co-hosted by the Kinh Te Va Do Thi (Economy and Urban Affairs) Newspaper, ActionAid Vietnam, and the Aid for social protection program Foundation Vietnam (AFV).

It aimed to honour the important contributions of individuals and groups who provide care and favourable conditions for female workers, especially migrant workers in rented accommodation.

As such, it is expected that the programme will raise the understanding of stakeholders, including workers (especially female workers), employers, and the community, about the challenges in providing decent work in both the formal and informal sectors amidst the digital transformation process.

In the eight months after its launch, the programme received more than 650 entries in the two categories for professional and amateur authors.

At the award ceremony, the organising board presented two first, two second, six third, and fifteen consolation prizes to the winners in the two categories.
