The programme features the unexpected sounds from electronic music and ‘dan bau’ – a traditional Vietnamese musical instrument played in an experimental style. The special program features leading experimental musicians in Hanoi including Vu Nhat Tan, Dee.F, Nguyen Do Minh Quan, and Pham Thanh Tam.

Photography Exhibition ‘War Reporters’

The exhibition features the photos by the four Vietnamese photographers ─ Doan Cong Tinh, Chu Chi Thanh, Mai Nam and Hua Kiem ─ who covered the Vietnam War in the Northern part of the country. Their images are relatively unknown to the West where people only see the war through the photos of Western photographers such as Larry Burrows, Don McCullin, Griffiths, Chauvel or Caron.
