Viet Nam Records Organisation (VietKings) recognised and certified a record for “A map of Viet Nam formed from the largest number of flower and ornamental plant varieties in the country”, at the 2nd Sa Dec Flower and Ornamental Plant Festival 2025.

Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial People’s Committee Pham Thanh Ngai said the Sa Dec Flower and Ornamental Plant Festival should be an occasion for visitors not only to experience, to see and to capture memories, but also to take away tangible and intangible products born from flowers to reach the wider public.

The nine-day event is also an opportunity to create circular linkages with the province’s signature products – so that when Dong Thap is mentioned, people immediately think of a flower “capital”, a fruit “capital”, a rice “capital”, and pangasius – contributing to the building of ecological agriculture, modern rural areas and smart farmers.
