According to a cooperation agreement signed between the ABC and the Viet Nam Association of Foreign Invested Enterprises (VAFIE), the two sides have agreed to establish a cooperation framework to promote information exchange, enhance mutual understanding of the investment climate and legal policies, and expand investment and trade cooperation opportunities between Viet Nam and the Arab business community.

Meanwhile, a strategic cooperation memorandum of understanding between the ABC and MHGROUP was signed based on a shared recognition of the long-term cooperation potential between Viet Nam and the global Arab business community.

The cooperation will focus on key sectors such as real estate, infrastructure development, high-tech agriculture, manufacturing, logistics, energy, green technology, and sustainable development, particularly the development of the halal industry in Viet Nam.

Nguyen Thi Minh Hang, Chairwoman and CEO of MHGROUP, said the memorandum also records the official recognition of MHGROUP as the sole honorary member of the global Arab business community in Viet Nam.

Nguyen Anh Tuan, Deputy Director of the Foreign Investment Agency under the Ministry of Finance, highly valued MHGROUP’s role as an effective bridge linking Arab investors with Viet Nam’s ministries, sectors, and localities.

He affirmed that the ministry stands ready to create favourable conditions for Arab investors to explore the investment environment and implement projects in Viet Nam.

At a reception for the delegation, Chairman of the Ha Noi People’s Committee Vu Dai Thang affirmed that the capital city always welcomes investment from Arab investors, especially in areas where the city has demand, such as urban infrastructure, finance, science and technology, and the halal industry.

In Ho Chi Minh City, Vice Chairman Nguyen Van Dung shared with the delegation the city’s development orientation, along with three key tasks for 2026, namely building an international financial centre, developing the urban railway system, and forming a free trade zone.

Appreciating the city’s development vision, Bassam Tabajah said Arab businesses are particularly interested in projects that meet the criteria of safety, stability, and sustainable profitability, and expressed the hope that the city would soon provide detailed information to effectively attract greater investment flow from the Middle East.

The delegation also held a working session and exchange with the Da Nang Young Business Association.

In Quang Ninh Province, Chairman Bui Van Khang affirmed that the locality is ready to create favourable conditions for strategic investors, with priority given to high-tech industries, the marine economy, high-quality tourism and services, logistics, and seaports.

Bassam Tabajah noted that returning to Viet Nam after just one month demonstrates the ABC’s strong interest in the Vietnamese market, adding that the Arab business community possesses advantages in financial resources and an international network, and is willing to bring investors to Viet Nam.
