In the more than three months since its launch (from August 13 to November 15), the 2025 contest received nearly 1,000 entries, including more than 500 short videos/clips and over 400 long videos/clips. This reflects the widespread interest of the public, tourism practitioners, content creators, and international visitors.
The entries showed rich diversity in emotion and perspective on the beauty of Viet Nam, featuring images of majestic natural landscapes, thousand-old cultural heritage, and intimate stories of daily life imbued with strong Vietnamese identity.
According to the jury, the overall quality of this year’s entries was particularly impressive, reflecting the authors’ serious working spirit, thorough investment and clear creative thinking. Many videos showed meticulous preparation, including coherent script development, location selection suitable with the stories, emotionally expressive camera angles, and deliberate use of sound and music to enhance storytelling value.
Notably, young creators continued to create a strong mark. In addition to their technological proficiency and sensitivity to trends, young participants brought unique, energetic, and bold storytelling approaches that were also rich in emotion.
Many works showed the clear imprint of youth, with fresh visual language, modern visual thinking, and a strong desire to explore and tell Vietnamese stories in their own way. These elements delivered visually engaging experiences for audiences and demonstrated the Vietnamese younger generation’s ability to quickly grasp emerging communication trends.
Speaking at the ceremony, Nguyen Thi Hoang Lan, Director of the Centre for Digital Transformation of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Head of the Editorial Board of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s Electronic Information Portal; and Head of the Organising Committee of the contest, affirmed that, through these films, images of Viet Nam have been more powerfully disseminated in the digital environment, contributing to enriching tourism communication resources while fostering a spirit of innovation in the community.
“This contest has fulfilled its mission — not only discovering beautiful works, but also inspiring pride and love for the homeland and the country in each individual; contributing to building the image of Viet Nam as a beautiful, safe, friendly, and hospitable destination; and promoting tourism as a spearhead economic sector,” she stressed.
