The clip was jointly launched by the Tourism Information Centre under the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and the People’s Committee of Co To District, Quang Ninh Province, in response to the tourism communication programme on the digital platform named “Vietnam: Travel to Love!”.

The two-minute video clip features beautiful footage of Co To Island — known as the green pearl of the Northeast. The island is one of the leading destinations in protecting the natural environment, limiting plastic waste, and minimising environmental pollution.

Co To is an ideal destination as it features a system of unique cultural relics and landscapes such as the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site, Truc Lam Co To Temple, Co To Church, and Thanh Lan Church. In addition, the hospitality and kindness of the local people are also highlights for tourists when visiting Co To.

The clip also depicts the majestic scenery of the “green pearl” through the mysterious beauty of the tens-of-thousands-of-years-old sedimentary rocks at Mong Rong Rock Beach, the poetic features of the sand strip hidden by the tide at Ca Chep Isle, the rare uniqueness of Tran Nhan Isle, and others.

Visitors can also participate in exciting experiential activities such as trekking through the forest, boating, fishing, jet skiing, paragliding, riding seaplanes, and diving, as well as enjoying local cuisine filled with the fresh flavours of the sea.

The video clip has been published on the Youtube platform by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and will be widely promoted on other digital media channels, including websites and social networks of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and media channels of Quang Ninh Province.
