Launched in 1997 by the NTSC, the biennial event has attracted the attention and participation of ministries, sectors, press agencies, newspapers, organisations, and individuals from across the country.
Themed “Respect the law to build a safe traffic culture”, this year’s festival aimed to disseminate information on traffic laws while raising people’s awareness of law observance to promote traffic order and safety.
The organising board received a total of 321entries, including 152 reportages and 169 short clips.
Speaking at the award ceremony on January 14, Nguyen Van Thang, Minister of Transport and NTSC Standing Vice Chairman, highly appreciated the quality of the entries and hailed many of them for their focus on traffic issues of concern to the whole society, such as handling alcohol concentration violations, car parking, and digital transformation in the transport sector.
The works also proposed and suggested many sound solutions to control and minimise the number of traffic accidents, as well as honour typical examples and good experiences in ensuring traffic order and safety, he added.
At the ceremony, the organising board presented prizes to the 22 best entries, including one first, two second, three third, and five consolation prizes in each category.
