In Ha Noi, the film week will be hosted at the National Cinema Centre, featuring 19 remarkable Vietnamese films from various eras.

The programme serves as a gift to cinema lovers, with free tickets available from 8:15 am on November 11. Each viewer can receive up to four tickets for the week, with a maximum of two tickets per film.

Special discussions with filmmakers will follow screenings of selected works, including “Mui co chay” (The Scent of Burning Grass) on November 15 and “Vang trang tho au” (The Childhood Moon) on November 16.

The 24th Viet Nam Film Festival itself will take place from November 21–25 in Ho Chi Minh City, marking 55 years since the festival’s inception (1970–2025). The event underscores the city’s role as a hub of economic, cultural, educational, and technological activity and highlights its dynamic transformation as a newly designated UNESCO Creative City of Film.

In coordination with the Viet Nam People’s Army Cinema and the General Political Department of the Viet Nam People’s Army, the film “Mua do” (Red Rain) will be screened during the film week for audiences in Ha Noi, Bac Ninh, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Hue, Da Nang, Dak Lak, Can Tho, and Ho Chi Minh City.
