The tripartite partnership aims to support Indonesia’s National Digital Transformation Programme, contributing to the construction of a competitive digital economy through innovation, technological development, and the comprehensive modernisation of key sectors. The three sides expect to generate up to 100 million USD in revenue within five years by providing digital platforms, solutions, and technology services that promote digital transformation across industries and sectors in Indonesia.
Based on FPT’s global technological capabilities, LAPI ITB’s academic and research strengths, and DUL’s local market expertise, the parties will jointly develop scalable digital platforms, modernise key public systems, and promote the adoption of advanced technologies to accompany Indonesia in its transition toward an innovation-based economy. Their cooperation will focus on developing national digital platforms for public services and cooperatives, modernising tax and public finance systems, developing smart tourism, and regional digital transformation.
In particular, the cooperation will expand into emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), cloud computing, cybersecurity, high-performance computing, and semiconductors, as well as digital solutions in agriculture, healthcare, logistics, energy, smart cities, and finance. The partnership also emphasises human resource development through training and certification programmes and the establishment of joint research centres with leading educational institutions.
FPT plans to open a new office in Bandung, Indonesia’s third-largest city, to cooperate with LAPI ITB in enhancing training and technological innovation in the region. FPT’s efforts aim to contribute to strengthening Indonesia’s national digital infrastructure, promoting innovation, and ensure a skilled workforce for Indonesia’s digital future.
