Gia Lai province’s leaders should contribute more to province’s prosperity: Le Hong Anh

Nhan Dan – The former provincial leaders, senior revolutionaries, artists and village heads of Gia Lai province should do their best to contribute more to the locality’s development and to realising the 11th Party Congress Resolutions.

Le Hong Anh, Politburo member and permanent member of the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee made the statement at a meeting with senior revolutionaries, village heads and artists from the Central Highland province of Gia Lai on September 28 at the Vietnamese Communist Party Central Committee headquarters in Hanoi.

Gia Lai has had a glorious revolutionary history in the two struggles against aggressors, contributing to the Great Victory in the spring of 1975 that unified the country.

At the meeting, the representatives from Gia Lai pledged to unite in preserving the cultural identities of ethnic groups in the Central Highlands and enrich the cultural life in hamlets, villages and communes by trusting and implementing the Party and State’s policies and guidelines.

Overcoming many difficulties and challenges, Gia Lai has gained significant achievements in construction and defence, which has promoted the flurry of development in the Central Highlands.

With its advantages in human capital, geography and potential, Gia Lai should attract more investment and create breakthroughs in the coming years to become a properous province.
