On September 25, at the Digital Arts Centre at 22 Hang Buom Street, the Management Board of Hoan Kiem Lake and Ha Noi Old Quarter coordinated with units and individuals to organise the opening ceremony for a series of cultural activities to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival 2025.

The traditional Mid-Autumn Festival 2025 in Ha Noi’s Old Quarter includes a series of activities at relic sites. One of the important highlights of the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival 2025 is the introduction of the project of researcher Kevin Vuong to restore the ancient lion head — a traditional Mid-Autumn Festival toy which has been associated with the childhood memories of many generations.

Along with the traditional lion head toy, there is also a talk show “Introducing the project on recreating the traditional lion head and applying heritage in contemporary life” on September 27, at Kim Ngan Communal House, 42-44 Hang Bac.

Meanwhile, Phung Hung Street Mural Space is bright with festival colours with flower lights and many fun activities for children with the theme of the Fairy Moon Season. The main activities are folk games and creative games related to subjects such as science, technology, engineering, and mathematics for children to attend.

In particular, on the evening of October 3, there will be a lantern procession “Full Moon Festival Night” around the Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake, recreating the beauty of the ancient Mid-Autumn Festival in the typical cultural space of the Capital.
