The festival will feature 80 booths showcasing Hanoi’s tourism potential. Heritage and tourist destinations such as Hanoi’s Old Quarter, the Thang Long Imperial Citadel, and the Temple of Literature will be introduced.
Traditional craft villages will be highlighted, including Bat Trang Pottery Village and Van Phuc Silk Village, which have both been recognised as creative craft hubs.
Visitors can also explore a variety of tourism gift products, including unique souvenirs and local specialties, while taking advantage of discounted tour packages from travel agencies, airlines, and tourist attractions.
The event will include a rich lineup of cultural performances, featuring Ca Tru singing, a classical Vietnamese art form blending poetry and music; Dao Thuc water puppetry, a traditional folk performance from Dong Anh District; and tug-of-war games, a UNESCO-recognised cultural heritage activity.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to participate in workshops where they can experience traditional crafts firsthand, such as making pottery and silk products.
By promoting its tourism potential through this festival, Hanoi hopes to attract 31 million visitors in 2025. The event will also introduce travel opportunities across Vietnam’s heritage sites and regional cultures.
