The honouring ceremony is expected to be held on January 1, 2023.
Three young faces will be honoured in the field of scientific research, including Dr. Tran Thi Nhu Hoa from the University of Natural Sciences under the Ho Chi Minh City National University, and Pham Quang Thang from the Management Board of Ho Chi Minh City Hi-Tech Agricultural Parks.
Vu Minh Vuong, a teacher from Le Van Tam Secondary School in Ho Chi Minh City’s Binh Thanh District, will be honoured as an exemplary young teacher.
The title of outstanding worker in direct production will go to Nguyen Ngoc Luon from Thien Loc Shoes Corporation in District 12.
In the field of administrative reform, Nguyen Thi Hai Ha from the Administration Construction and Youth Affairs Office under the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Home Affairs is to be honoured.
Pham Thi Ai Xuan, head of the Ward 4 Medical Station in District 10, is an example of an outstanding doctor.
Regarding armed forces, young soldier Tran Vinh Chien from the Ho Chi Minh City Police’s Drugs and Crime Investigation Office (Office PC04) and Huynh Truong Bao Son from Long Hoa Border Guard (in Can Gio District) will be honoured.
Tran Thi Thuy Trang, a member of the Vietnam Women’s Football Team, and Dinh Nhat Minh, a bamboo flute artist from Bong Sen Folk Music and Dance Theatre, have been voted as outstanding young faces in culture and arts.
For the fields of social affairs and work related to Youth Unions, grade-two student Tran Khanh Tuong from Ho Chi Minh City Medicine and Pharmacy University and the 9th grader Dinh Tran Thanh Lam from Hau Giang Secondary School in District 6 will be honoured.
