Ho Chi Minh City Brand Award 2022 honours 45 golden brands

As many as 45 golden brands were presented with the Ho Chi Minh City Brand Award title at a ceremony held on January 6.

The 2022 edition of the Ho Chi Minh City Brand Awards was held by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade and the Saigon Times Group.

Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Phan Van Mai said that the awarded brands are owned by enterprises with outstanding business results and great efforts in brand building which generated over 333 trillion VND in total revenue and created more than 36,000 jobs.

25 out of 45 brands have been granted the Ho Chi Minh City Brand Award title since 2020.

They are all reputable brands which have asserted a solid position in the market and are considered encouraging bright spots in the context of difficulties in the world economy, high inflation, conflicts, epidemics, and supply chain disruptions.

Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Phan Van Mai hopes that the city will soon establish centres for the display of Ho Chi Minh City Gold Brand products in key markets.

At the event, the city leader also called on the business community to continue implementing the three pillars of responsibility: responsibility for their own business, responsibility for the business community in general, and responsibility for the sustainable development of the city.
