Ho Chi Minh City delegation offers incense at city martyrs’ cemetery

A delegation of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front led by Politburo member and Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen, offered incense and flowers in commemoration of heroic martyrs at the Ho Chi Minh City Martyrs’ Cemetery on July 26.

The delegation spent a minute in silence to pay tribute to Heroic Vietnamese Mothers and fallen soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the independence and freedom of the nation and its people on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the War Invalids and Fallen Soldiers’ Day.

After visiting the Ho Chi Minh City Martyrs’ Cemetery, the delegation offered incense at the Lac Canh Cemetery in Thu Duc city to show gratitude to generations of late leaders and revolutionary activists who made great contributions to the cause of national construction and defence.

On the same day, the Ho Chi Minh City delegation offered flowers and incense to fallen soldiers at the Ben Duoc Memorial Temple and Cu Chi Martyrs’ Cemetery in Cu Chi district and the Cemetery of Revolutionary Contributors in Phu Hoa Dong commune, Cu Chi district.
