Highlighting the nation’s aspirations for peace, independence, and unity, the event is expected to feature a grand parade symbolising the historic campaign 50 years ago. Ho Chi Minh City will finalise its celebration plans by mid-December to await approval.

The parade will include 35 military and police units coordinated by the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Public Security alongside 11 civilian groups organised by the city. Approximately 13,120 participants will take part in the event.

Scheduled to take place on Le Duan Street on the morning of April 30, 2025, highlights will include a 21-gun salute, an air force flyover, and processions of military units, police, and civilians.

Authorities aim to use advanced technology such as cameras and LED screens to ensure public engagement and live broadcasts of the events.
