The concert will feature the Sun Symphony Orchestra, noted violinist Caroline Campbell, and three famous opera vocalists, namely British tenor Oliver Johnston, American soprano Corinne Winters, and Vietnamese soprano vocalist Dao To Loan.

Under the baton of French conductor Olivier Ochanine, the artists will delight the audience with opera masterpieces by celebrated composers, such as Carmen, Madama Butterfly, O Mio Babbino Caro, La Traviata, and Romeo and Juliet.

The event, hosted by the Ministry of Public Security, is also the first international concert to be held at Ho Guom Theatre, a modernised cultural, art and entertainment complex, in downtown Hanoi.

Covering a total area of 5,000sq.m, Ho Guom Theatre can accommodate up to 1,400 guests. The centre stage system and the seats can be raised or lowered, to help transform into several different types of stages.

It is equipped with a high-tech system, which includes an Array speaker system and a Constellation sound system - the most modern sound system in the world.
