The exhibition employs digital projection, lighting, interactive elements, and multimedia technologies, contributing to the implementation of Politburo Resolution 57 on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation. Unlike traditional display formats, the event embraces a “living heritage” concept, enabling visitors not only to observe but also to actively interact and immerse themselves in the displays. Visitors enjoy Vietnamese calligraphy art.
The exhibition space incorporates advanced technologies such as immersive 3D mapping, LED kinetic installations, interactive walls, virtual reality, multi-layer projection, and motion sensors. In this setting, light functions not merely as illumination but as the primary artistic medium, guiding emotions and connecting layers of space and time from past to present to future. Visitors can interact directly with digital walls to construct images of the future capital, featuring smart urban spaces and green areas.
The immersive mapping space on silk, “A Millennium of Thang Long”, recreates cultural symbols using multi-layer projection technology. The event aims to make heritage more approachable, relatable, and impactful for audiences, particularly younger generations and international tourists.
In the modern era, indigenous cultural heritage is recognised as an important endogenous resource for creating green tourism and promoting sustainable development. This journey is led by the local communities themselves – the guardians of daily life and the beauty of their work, creating unique experiences.
