In his message, Prime Minister Kishida expressed his profound condolences to the families affected by the typhoon, stressing that the Japanese Government stands shoulder to shoulder with Vietnam during this challenging time. He pledged Japan's readiness to provide assistance, helping Vietnam overcome difficulties and mitigate the aftermath to restore normalcy as soon as possible.

Ambassador Ito revealed that the Japanese Government, through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), is actively considering the provision of materials and equipment to support Vietnam's disaster recovery efforts, tailored to the country's specific needs.

He also confirmed that no Japanese citizens had been affected by the typhoon and expressed his hope that the Vietnamese Government and local authorities would facilitate the swift resumption of Japanese business operations in the country.

Binh expressed Vietnam's gratitude for the solidarity and support extended by the Japanese leaders and people, saying that this gesture underscored the close friendship and mutual support between the two nations.

According to him, the Vietnamese ministries, agencies, and local authorities are pooling all available resources to prioritise the treatment of the injured, deploy rescue teams to isolated areas, and ensure the supply of electricity and water for both residents and businesses. The collective effort aims to stabilise the situation and expedite a return to normalcy.
