Through a large-scale mobilisation campaign conducted across the provincial police force, in only two days of November 30 and December 1, the police in units and localities mobilised nearly 34 tonnes of vegetables to promptly deliver to people in Ninh Phuoc, Tay Khanh Son communes and Hoa Thang ward, where were severely affected by the floods in Khanh Hoa province.
Right after receiving the donations, the Logistics Division and the Political Affairs Division and relevant units sorted, packed and transported all the agricultural products to Khanh Hoa Province.
The donated goods include fresh vegetables, sweet potatoes, corn, squash, luffa, beans and so on to meet the essential needs of people during post-disaster recovery.
At reception points, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police coordinated with local authorities to receive and allocate the goods to the hardest-hit areas, especially areas still struggling to access food supplies after the floods.
This practical and meaningful activity helps stabilise the immediate lives of people, reducing pressure on local supply sources and creating conditions for local authorities to focus on restoring infrastructure and ensuring security and order in disaster-hit areas.
