'Mobile Advertising Network' wins Vietnamese Talent Award 2013

Nhan Dan - Mobile Advertising Network Solution, an outstanding IT product, was presented with the 2013 Vietnamese Talent Awards first prize on November 20.

The award-winning solution is a product of Centech Communication JSC. The technology allows advertisers to send marketing and advertising messages to customers by different goals, making it possible for mobile application developers to use the mobile advertising network in their applications and make profit from advertising.

Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam said that the annual Talent Award has become a forum for encouraging innovation and honouring talents in the area of information technology and communication. Nine years since its inception, the Talent Award has expanded to other areas – including the natural sciences, medicine and the environment – demonstrating its development into a serious scientific award and its spread among the science community.

This year awards ceremony gave out 16 prizes, including 12 prizes in the field of information technology, one prize in applied science, one prize in medicine and two prizes in the area of the environment.

The prize in applied science was presented to Associate Professor Dr Ho Van Chin and his coworkers at the Ho Chi Minh City Institute of Resource Geography for the project 'Research on natural conditions and resources in Dong Thap Muoi region in the 1980-1987 period'.

The lifetime medicine award went to Associate Professor Dr Nguyen Viet Tien, deputy minister of health and director of the National Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology, for his research on high-tech applications for the diagnosis and treatment of sterility in Vietnam.

One environmental prize was given to the Vinh Phuc provincial Centre for Applied Science and Technology Advancements and the Ho Son Commune Agricultural Extension Centre in Tam Dao district, Vinh Phuc province. The project was called 'Agricultural waste treatment to protect rural environment'.

The other environment prize was presented to the Youth Union in Nghia Trung commune, Nghia Hung district, Nam Dinh province for their project 'Waste classification and organic waste treatment into organic fertilizer to increase crop yield'.

The award presentation ceremony was held on November 20 by Vietnam Television, Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group and Dan Tri online newspaper in celebration of Vietnamese Teachers' Day.
