Artifacts donated include oil portraits of President Ho Chi Minh by Nigerian painter Ejiogu Mary Ifeoma, mourning bands commemorating Uncle Ho’s death in 1969, and an eight-episode documentary entitled ‘President Ho Chi Minh and Russia’.
The museum has also collected the memoirs of 40 people who worked with Uncle Ho, such as the five-volume series of books by former Party General Secretary Le Kha Phieu, as well as the reminiscences of Professor Vu Khieu and former Deputy Prime Minister, Lt. General Dong Sy Nguyen featuring their memories of President Ho Chi Minh and his moral example.
At the gathering, the museum’s leaders expressed their thanks to the individuals and collectives that have donated these valuable items to the museum, saying they will enrich the museum’s research and exhibitions on beloved Uncle Ho.
