Prime Minister Le Minh Hung attended and delivered a keynote address at the 2026 National Conference Honouring People with Meritorious Services to the Revolution, held in Ha Noi on July 23, where a movement was also launched to step up care for people with meritorious services ahead of the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947–2026).

During the month of July, as the whole country is commemorating the 79th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 – July 27, 2026), many groups of veterans, businesses, and visitors from all over the country pay their respects to the fallen heroes at Le Thi Rieng Park.

On the occasion of the 64th anniversary of the traditional day of the People's Police force (July 20, 1962 – July 20, 2026), the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security held a gathering on July 18 for current and former leaders, commanders, veteran officers and representatives of wounded police officers of the People's Police force.
