According to Nguyen Hong Hai, Vice President of the Vietnam Tourism Association, the event drew participation from tourism agencies and businesses from across 56 provinces and cities of Vietnam, as well as 16 countries and territories. A total of 668 exhibitors took part in the event.
A highlight of this year’s fair was a dedicated space for showcasing AI and automation technology in tourism. Notable achievements included: 15 domestic and international tech firms collaborating on a tourism technology map; 20 cutting-edge solutions ranging from AI and robots to smart hotels, providing an immersive experience; 14 TechTalk seminars; over 6,000 visitors engaging with the exhibits; and 200 new business opportunities emerging from the event.
During the fair, nearly 4,500 tourism businesses engaged in over 14,500 B2B meetings. Meanwhile, more than 15,000 promotional tours and tourism products were offered, generating over 180 billion VND (nearly 7 million USD) in revenue.
VITM Hanoi 2025 affirmed its status as Vietnam’s leading tourism promotion event and a key annual gathering for the industry, said Nguyen Hong Hai, Vice President of the Vietnam Tourism Association.
The fair featured numerous promotional videos, including the music video “Victory – Bond in Vietnam”, which was produced by Nhan Dan Newspaper and IB Group to promote Vietnamese culture and tourism internationally.
