This is an event of profound cultural significance for the friendship between Nghe An Province and Ulyanovsk Province (Russia) and Vietnam and Russia.

Since establishing diplomatic and friendly relations in 1990, the two provinces have jointly enhanced the exchanges and discussions in the fields of culture and education.

Notably, a statue dedicated to President Ho Chi Minh was inaugurated in Ulyanovsk Province in 2017, becoming a “red address” for Vietnamese people living in Russia to pay tribute to the great leader and express their sentiments to their fatherland.

Lenin statue, located at the intersection between Lenin Avenue and Nguyen Phong Sac Street in Vinh City, is a cultural and artistic symbol of the closeness between the two provinces.

The project also creates a beautiful space and is a highlight of the urban appearance of Vinh City. Through cultural diplomacy activities, the two provinces will promote bilateral cooperation activities in investment, trade, health, education-training, and tourism.
