Nhan Dan Newspaper, in coordination with relevant units, organised a conference to launch and present the Nhan Dan Spring Edition of the Horse 2026 to border and island officers and soldiers at the headquarters of Nhan Dan Newspaper (71 Hang Trong Street, Ha Noi) on the morning of January 27.
This activity continues the meaningful journey of previous years, during which tens of thousands of Tet newspapers have been delivered. Each Spring edition is not only a spiritual gift imbued with the flavour of Tet, but also a bridge connecting affection, gratitude, and sharing from the rear to the frontline forces safeguarding the Fatherland’s sovereignty.
Sharing the significance of the Spring edition presentation, Le Quoc Minh, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, said that every Tet, Nhan Dan Newspaper maintains a good tradition of presenting about 40,000 Spring editions to the soldiers who are day and night safeguarding the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland, with the wish to bring the spring spirit as well as the country’s outstanding achievements highlighted in the pages of the Nhan Dan Spring Edition to officers and soldiers.
“This year is particularly special as we organise the 14th National Party Congress, and this special issue is imbued with such spirit. It contains an article by the General Secretary, contents on the activities of senior Party and State leaders, as well as all aspects of socio-economic life, national defence and security, science–technology, and culture of the country,” Le Quoc Minh noted.
According to him, each year the Nhan Dan Spring Edition is produced in a more beautiful, elaborate, and meticulous manner. This year, Nhan Dan Newspaper made great efforts to release this special issue early, ahead of the National Party Congress, so that it could be delivered to delegates attending the National Party Congress. Previously, on January 17, the first 5,000 copies of the Nhan Dan Spring Edition were presented to naval officers and soldiers. Today, the conference of the official launch and presentation of a total of 40,000 copies was held to present to representatives of units of the armed forces.
On this occasion, Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh sincerely thanked enterprises and organisations for joining Nhan Dan Newspaper in bringing these newspapers – a spiritual “dish” each spring – to officers and soldiers on duties in border and island areas, and expressed his hope that Nhan Dan Newspaper will continue to receive their companionship in this meaningful journey.
He affirmed that reporters and editors of Nhan Dan Newspaper will make more efforts so that each daily, weekly, and monthly issue, as well as special editions and Spring editions, will become increasingly fresh, rich in useful content, reflecting all aspects of life, especially the armed forces, thereby creating trust among the people in general and the armed forces in particular.
On the occasion of the coming Lunar New Year of the Horse, on behalf of the leadership and all reporters and editors of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Le Quoc Minh extended his best wishes to the leaders of the Ministry of National Defence, the services, corps, and general departments, officers and soldiers and their families, as well as representatives of accompanying units, for good health and success in the new year.
Senior Colonel Nguyen Trung Kien, Deputy Head of the Inspection Commission of the Border Guard Party Committee, expressed his pleasure and emotion at being entrusted to represent officers and soldiers working in remote, border, and island areas to receive this meaningful gift from Nhan Dan Newspaper and accompanying units. He affirmed that Border Guard officers and soldiers in particular, and all forces safeguarding borders and islands in general, will always make every effort, remain united and resolute, and be ready to receive and successfully accomplish all assigned tasks, firmly protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security in the new situation.
Representing an accompanying unit, Nguyen Quang Hai, Deputy General Director of Viet Nam Post, said that each spring, the publication and distribution of the Nhan Dan Spring Edition has become a beautiful tradition and a meaningful spiritual gift for readers, including officers and soldiers nationwide. Organising the distribution of Spring newspapers is not only a professional task but also a journey of spreading spiritual values, faith, and connection. Spring editions delivered to border and island areas are not only press products, but the affection of the rear, the sharing, and the encouragement of people nationwide to the soldiers who day and night safeguard the Fatherland.
Le Anh Chien, in charge of the Party Committee’s Commission for Communication, Education, and Mass Mobilisation of the Viet Nam National Industry–Energy Group, on behalf of the Group, also expressed his honour in accompanying Nhan Dan Newspaper in this meaningful activity of presenting Spring editions to border and island officers and soldiers.
At the conference, leaders of Nhan Dan Newspaper together with representatives of accompanying units and organisations symbolically presented 40,000 copies of the Nhan Dan Spring Edition 2026 to representatives of the armed forces. These Spring editions, imbued with the affection of the rear, will be soon delivered to officers and soldiers performing duties to safeguard the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland, becoming a source of spiritual encouragement, motivating them to overcome difficulties and excellently fulfil their assigned tasks.
