Throughout its 70-year history, the Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing House, now known as the Hanoi Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing Company, has continually grown and excelled in its mission of printing publications for the Party’s newspaper. It has maintained stable growth and affirmed its vital role within the organisational structure of Nhan Dan Newspaper.
Among those attending the ceremony were Vo Thi Anh Xuan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of Vietnam, and First Vice Chairwoman of the Central Emulation and Commendation Council; Le Quoc Minh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, the Party Central Committee Commission for Communication, Education and Mass Mobilisation and Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association; journalist Ha Dang, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, and former Head of the Party Central Committee Commission for Ideology and Culture; and journalist Thuan Huu, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, former Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Communication and Education, and former Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association.
Seventy years ago, following the liberation of the capital in October 1954, under the direct leadership of the Nhan Dan Newspaper’s Editorial Board and following the decision of the Party Central Committee, the Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing House was established. It was founded by taking over the IDEO (Vien Dong An Duong) Far East Printing House at 24 Trang Tien Street.
By late April 1955, Nhan Dan Printing House had begun operations, printing the major part of Nhan Dan Newspaper’s editions. On April 30, the entire run of Issue No. 425 (dated 1 May 1955), was printed in two colours.
Since then, April 30 has been commemorated annually as the traditional founding day of the Hanoi Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing House (now Hanoi Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing One Member Limited Liability Company).
Over the years, under the leadership of the Party and the Editorial Board of Nhan Dan Newspaper, the printing house has grown and matured, fulfilling its political duties excellently: printing the Nhan Dan Newspaper, its publications, and Party documents at high quality, securing a leading position among printing enterprises serving the Party.

The company employs over 100 highly skilled, dedicated, and professionally trained staff.
In addition to its core political responsibilities, the company has been proactive in market development, expanding its printing services in compliance with the law, and building a reputable brand in the publishing and printing sector. It continues to innovate by applying digital technology, automation, and artificial intelligence in production, improving product quality, increasing productivity, cutting costs, and maximising business efficiency.
Notably, despite fierce market competition, the rapid evolution of modern media, and the severe impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the company has remained stable, ensured growth, and safeguarded employment and income for its workers, continuing to affirm its key role within the Nhan Dan Newspaper system.
“Recognising the company’s excellent contributions over the past 70 years, the Party and State have awarded it many prestigious honours, including two First- and Second-class Independence Orders, three First, Second, and Third-class Labour Orders—and today, a second Third-class Labour Order. These accolades are a testament to the tireless, continuous, and proud dedication of generations of the company’s staff,” said Minh.
Praising the company’s tremendous efforts and achievements throughout its 70-year journey, Editor-in-Chief Le Quoc Minh urged the leadership and staff of the Hanoi Nhan Dan Newspaper Printing Company to continue upholding tradition, unity, proactiveness, and creativity while effectively implementing key future tasks.
