The 20th Cong Hien (Devotion) Awards ceremony was organised by the The Thao & Van Hoa (Sports and Culture) Newspaper under the Viet Nam News Agency to honour excellence in music and sport.
Held on August 10, 2025 to mark the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, To Quoc Trong Tim was staged as Viet Nam’s largest-ever event, with 50,000 spectators dressed in outfits featuring the red flag with a yellow star, singing the national anthem Tien Quan Ca (Marching Song), alongside dozens of revolutionary songs.
The programme generated 20 million social media interactions, with 2.5 billion views on TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube within just two weeks.
At the Cong Hien Awards ceremony, the organising board presented prizes in two categories: music and sport.
This year, singer and producer Soobin achieved a major triumph with three awards: Programme of the Year, Music Video of the Year, and Male Singer of the Year. He also became the first artist to secure a “hat-trick” in two consecutive Devotion Awards editions in 2025 and 2026.
The Female Singer of the Year title was awarded to pop singer Hoa Minzy, recognised for her music blending tradition with modernity and creating a positive impact across digital platforms.
DTAP was named Producer of the Year for their innovative pop productions infused with folk influences.
Composer Nguyen Van Chung received the Composer of the Year Award for works that evoke patriotic traditions while remaining relatable to younger audiences.
The Song of the Year award went to Con Gi Dep Hon (What Could Be More Beautiful) by young composer Nguyen Hung, a track that became a musical phenomenon beloved by a wide audience.
Huong Tram’s Phao Cuu Sinh (Lifebuoy) won Album of the Year, while The Story live tour by Bui Cong Nam and BCN Entertainment was crowned Music Series of the Year.
The New Artist of the Year title was awarded to CongB, a rising talent influenced by the K-pop idol industry, while the Devotion Impression Award went to composer Duong Cam.
In the sports category, the Viet Nam U22 football team won Sports Achievement of the Year; shooter Trinh Thu Vinh was named Sports Figure of the Year; and striker Nguyen Dinh Bac received Young Sports Figure of the Year. The Devotion Aspiration Award was presented to T&T Group.
