Speaking at the event, Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung, Deputy Minister of Public Security, emphasised that the coordination between the Ministry of Public Security and the Vietnam Women's Union in implementing the ‘All people's security safeguarding” movement in recent years has contributed towards mobilising public participation in protecting national security and social order, facilitating socio-economic development in localities as well as the country in general.

Over the past five years, members of the Vietnam Women’s Association at all levels across the country have put forward thousands of initiatives and innovations on maintaining national security and social order.

The association has also actively and effectively coordinated with the police force in preventing all types of crime, fighting against social evils, and promoting the implementation of the Law on Social Affairs.
