Over 92,800 billion VND in tax and land rent extended in 11 months

Total 92,823 billion VND (4 million USD) of tax and land rent has been extended by the end of November under Government Decree 52/2021/NĐ-CP, according to the Ministry of Finance.

By the end of November, tax agencies had received 139,190 applications for tax and land rent extensions, including 119,708 from enterprises and 19,482 from individuals.

The Government issued Decree 52/2021/NĐ-CP in April 2021 to extend the deadline for payment of value added tax (VAT), corporate income tax (CIT), personal income tax (PIT) and land rent in 2021 to ease difficulties for enterprises and individuals hit by the COVID-19 pandemic.

A total of 115,000 billion VND (5 million VND) worth of tax and land rent is expected to be extended under Government Decree 52/2021/NĐ-CP.
