The VND2.5 trillion (US$120 million) facility, one of the largest in the region, is located in the Cai Mep Industrial Park and is part of the Thi Vai Port complex.
The tank farm will provide a stable supply of LPG for 11 power stations and two urea fertiliser factories, as well as many other industrial facilities.
PV Gas is currently operating a wide range of gas projects in Vietnam including the Cuu Long gas transport and distribution system, the Nam Con Son pipeline and the PM3 – Ca Mau gas pipeline system.
Its annual revenues account for 10% of the total income of its parent company, the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PVN).
