The event is co-organised by Queen Zone Company and Nam Anh Duong Trading and Service Company. It has been approved by the Quang Ninh Provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism as part of the province's cultural, sports, and tourism activities in 2025.
After the preliminary rounds in the southern and northern regions, the organising committee selected 36 outstanding contestants for the final round.
Speaking at the press conference, Ly Minh Tuan, Head of the Organising Committee, said that the Miss Sea Vietnam Global 2025 pageant aims to honour the beauty of Vietnamese women while promoting the image of the homeland's seas and islands, which have great potential for economic and tourism development.
He added that the pageant also offers a venue for participants to expresses the voice on global issues such as marine environmental protection and call on the community, authorities, and businesses to join hands in protecting the natural environment, resources, and national marine ecosystem.
