Visitors to the market can enjoy folk songs and dances and take part in exciting folk games of the Lo Lo, Mong, Tay, Nung, and Dao ethnic communities in Cao Bang.

They can also shop for agricultural products such as vegetables, dried bamboo shoots, and spices and taste signature dishes of ethnic groups in the northern region, such as corn wine, sticky rice cooked in bamboo tubes, grilled fish, and chicken.

In addition, they will have the opportunity to explore traditional crafts, such as wine making, the Mong ethnic people’s technique of creating patterns on fabric with beeswax, and the making of incense of the Nung ethnic community.

Notably, the traditional ceremony to pray for rain of the Lo Lo ethnic people in Cao Bang Province will be reproduced on the morning of April 30. The ceremony, which is observed on the third lunar month, is one of important rituals of the Lo Lo people.
