The awards ceremony, organised by the Viet Nam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA) under the patronage of the Ministry of Science and Technology, took place in Ha Noi on May 28 alongside the launch of the “Viet Nam Digital Technology Solutions Map 2026”.
Following multiple rounds of assessment and presentations, the judging council selected 123 winning solutions from across the technology sector. The awards recognised strong growth in digital economy and digital transaction platforms, digital governance solutions and breakthrough technologies, particularly in artificial intelligence (AI), fintech and automation.
Many of the winning products reflected the shift from experimental AI applications to practical, real-world deployment. Solutions such as FPT Camera Brain, Saydi, Kyta Platform and VNPT Cloud demonstrated how AI is increasingly being used to automate processes, optimise infrastructure, analyse large datasets and support real-time business operations.
Speaking at the event, Nguyen Khac Lich, Director General of the Information Technology Industry Agency under the Ministry of Science and Technology, said the honoured products reflected the increasing maturity of Vietnamese technology firms as they gradually master platforms, data and digital infrastructure while strengthening Viet Nam’s position in the global technology landscape.
This year’s Top 10 Sao Khue Awards highlighted a balance between major technology corporations and smaller firms specialising in niche sectors such as AI, fintech, govtech, cybersecurity and automation.
According to organisers, Sao Khue 2026 marked a major shift for the 23-year-old awards programme by introducing a new-generation evaluation model. Beyond recognising achievements, the programme now serves as a platform for assessing, verifying and connecting Viet Nam’s digital technology ecosystem.
As part of the initiative, 140 technology solutions were evaluated and added to 28 categories in the first-ever Viet Nam Digital Technology Solutions Map.
