Recently, the US magazine Fortune announced the 2026 Fortune Southeast Asia 500 ranking, in which three member companies of the Military Industry and Telecoms Group (Viettel) featured: Viettel Global Investment Joint Stock Corporation (Viettel Global), Viettel Post Joint Stock Corporation (Viettel Post), and Viettel Construction Joint Stock Corporation (Viettel Construction).
The ranking is based on revenue from the most recent fiscal year, along with criteria regarding growth rates and corporate contributions to the regional economy.
These companies are all key enterprises in Viettel Group’s ecosystem, with operations spanning international telecommunications, logistics and delivery, and investment in and operation of technical infrastructure. This is the third consecutive year Fortune has published the ranking to recognise enterprises that play a pivotal role in the regional economy.
Viettel Global plays a key role in expanding Viettel’s operations into overseas markets. After 20 years of operation, the company is present in 10 countries across three continents, serving 90 million customers and ranking first in market share in seven markets.
Viettel Post has maintained its leading position in Viet Nam’s traditional delivery market. The year 2025 marked a milestone in redefining the company’s role in the chain.
For Viettel Construction, its strengths lie in the operation and utilisation of telecommunications networks, construction works, infrastructure investment, and shared infrastructure leasing. The company is currently the largest shared telecommunications infrastructure owner (TowerCo) in Viet Nam. In 2025, Viettel Construction achieved record revenue of 14.05 trillion VND, up 11% year-on- year.
