The annual awards aim to honour Vietnamese organisations and enterprises with excellent digital technology products, which are researched, designed, created and manufactured in Vietnam to solve Vietnamese problems and go international.

This is also one of the activities to realise the Prime Minister’s Directive 01 dated January 14, 2020, on promoting the development of Vietnamese digital technology enterprises.

Speaking at the press conference, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications, Bui Hoang Phuong emphasised that the award is among the ministry’s efforts to support trade and investment promotion, boost domestic consumption, and promote exports for new products, services, solutions and business models.

This year’s awards honour excellent digital products in five groups of industry and construction; agriculture, natural resources and environment; transport, post and logistics; education, health, culture, and society; and finance, banking, trade, and services.

It also includes three other categories for products that have been successful in foreign markets, potential and rising digital products.

The ministry will award Gold, Silver, Bronze and Top 10 awards for the best digital technology products.

Over its past four editions, the awards have been presented to 234 products, many of which have been successfully brought to life, contributing to facilitating the national digital transformation.
